HISTORY
e-biom is a spin-off issued from the University of Namur. It has been founded by Jonathan Marescaux and Karine Van Doninck with the support of the Walloon Region, with the commitment to offer reliable and efficient tools for biological monitoring and ecological assessment.
Combining the 40 years’ experience in applied ecology and the 10 years’ experience in molecular ecology from the Research Unit, e-biom raised as genetic research laboratory and an environmental consulting firm specializing in biological conservation, species inventories and ecological assessment.

MISSION & VISION
We believe that new genomic methods, based on molecular technologies, could complement traditional approaches to achieve more accurate conservation, management and restoration plans.
Our values are a key to your success
Biological conservation – we are convinced that the preservation of biodiversity concerns us all. We therefore develop e-biom in a safe and sustainable way and promote our commitment in research and conservation projects.
Innovation – on the lookout for advances in technology and scientific research, we are continually developing new protocols in collaboration with our scientific partners.
Partnership – we focus on client’s inquiries and offer the most appropriate tool to best meet their requirements. To achieve this goal, we consider our clients as partners in the development of each project.
